2026-2027 Red Pine PTO Volunteer Opportunities

There are so many ways that you can help our Red Pine community.

Planning begins 8/3/2026 - Back to School Open House Support

Be part of the team that helps bring our Back to School Open House to life.

Volunteers will help brainstorm activities with the committee, coordinate event logistics such as activities, Big Red, photo booths, food trucks, and giveaways, and support event promotion through flyers, social media, and ParentSquare. Volunteers will also help coordinate sponsor representation for the 2026–2027 school year.

Day-of support may include set up, clean up, and helping promote PTO throughout the event. This is a great fit for anyone who enjoys planning, organizing, and creating a fun welcome-back experience for families.

Join event lead coordinator, Sara Newman, to put together a memorable and fun experience for all!

Planning starts early August for the 8/27/26 event (specific time TBD).

Planning begins 8/3/2026 Upfront Donation Fundraiser

For the 2026-2207 school year, we are rolling out a fresh fundraising approach inspired by community feedback. Instead of partnering with Booster, we are keeping things in-house so Red Pine can keep significantly more of every dollar raised. In the fall, families will be invited to either donate or commit to volunteering during the school year. The fundraiser will run from August 27 through September 25.

This volunteer team will work closely with event lead, Sara Newman, to bring the experience to life. The group will likely meet once a week for about an hour, starting the week of August 3 and continuing through the end of the fundraiser.

This opportunity is a great fit for anyone who enjoys brainstorming, organizing, and building excitement in our school community.

8/19/2026 EPI School Supply Kit Distribution

Looking for 5 volunteers to team up with volunteer lead, Sara Newman, to organize and deliver supply kits to each classroom before school starts.

This is a fun, fast-paced activity that puts your alphabetizing skills and school map knowledge to the test. If you enjoy a quick sorting challenge and the back-to-school buzz, this is a great fit.

Planning begins 9/8/2026 Red Pine Trunk or Treat

We can’t wait to celebrate a fun, festive night with you.

9/22/2026 School Pictures

Remember the thrill (and mild chaos) of school picture day? The big smiles, the flyaway hair, the “please don’t spill on your shirt today” pep talks. It’s a busy day for everyone, which is why we’d love your help. When you arrive, just stop at the office to check in and get further instructions for your shift.

This volunteer gig is always a crowd favorite, so reserve your spot before they disappear. Browse the times below and tap the button to sign up. We appreciate you jumping in to make picture day run smoothly.

Note: Times are approximate and will be finalized in early September.
