We picked this option for you:

    🕸️ Planning Committee — 5 spots

Want to help shape the magic before the big night? Join the Trunk or Treat Planning Committee!

This small but mighty group meets once a week for about an hour, beginning the week of September 7th. Meetings are usually in the evening, and the location varies (North20 is a favorite).

The committee is led by Patty Jansen, our fearless event lead, and works best with about five volunteers. If you love brainstorming themes, organizing details, or just being part of the behind‑the‑scenes fun, this is your crew.

    📣 Content Creator — 1 spot

Calling all creative minds! We’re looking for a Content Creator to help spread the spooky cheer.

    This role includes:

    1. Creating fun, clear content for event posts and flyers
    2. Sending materials to Schelle Dahlke for distribution via Friday Folders and ParentSquare
    3. Coordinating with our Social Media Coordinator to ensure content is ready for Facebook and Instagram

If you enjoy designing graphics, writing playful blurbs, or making information look great, this is a perfect fit.

    🎃 Decorate a Trunk — 22 slots

Ready to bring the fun? Sign up to decorate a trunk!

We need at least 15 trunks by Wednesday, 9/30 for the event to move forward.

    1. Arrive between 4:30–5:00pm to set up in the Red Pine parking lot.
    2. The event runs 5:30–6:30pm.
    3. Please bring ~200 pieces of individually wrapped, store‑bought candy/snacks or non‑food treats.
    4. PTO will have extra goodies on hand to help restock throughout the night.

Decorations and costumes should be friendly for elementary‑aged (and younger) kids. A simple game or activity is encouraged but optional. All children must stay with an adult for the entire event.

Want to team up? Families, neighbors, classmates, Scout troops, sports teams—group trunks are always a hit.

Have a business you’d like to promote? Host a trunk! Email [email protected] to coordinate.

    🍬 Donate Candy — 75 slots

Help keep our trunks stocked and our trick‑or‑treaters smiling!

We’re collecting bags of individually wrapped, store‑bought candy.

Monetary donations are also welcome (cash, check, or Venmo @RedPinePTO).

Donations can be dropped off at Curriculum Nights (TBD) or at the school office.

If you prefer to help during the excitement of the actual event, we’ve got you!

We need friendly grown‑ups for roles like Parking Lot Monitor, set-up, and clean‑up support.

A PTO volunteer will reach out before the event with guidance and final details.
