Waitlist

A waitlist holds people in line for an option that is already full, and can automatically offer them the spot if it opens up.

Also called: wait list, standby list

When every spot in an option is taken, a waitlist lets people queue instead of being turned away. If someone cancels, Grasshopper can auto-fill the open spot from the waitlist and notify the next person, so organizers do not have to manage the handoff by hand.
