Survey
A survey collects opinions, ratings, or feedback from a group. Unlike a signup sheet, it gathers answers rather than handing out a limited set of spots.
Also called: feedback form, questionnaire, poll
Surveys and signup sheets are easy to confuse because both collect responses through a form. The difference is scarcity: on a signup sheet a choice can run out and availability matters, while a survey question can be answered by everyone. Grasshopper can collect both choices and open feedback on the same form.
Frequently asked
Is a survey the same as a signup sheet?
No. A survey collects answers that everyone can give, while a signup sheet offers limited spots that fill up as people claim them.
