How to Always Show Taken Options by Default

Show filled/taken options on your signup form by default, instead of hiding them behind the "Show taken" button.

Always Show Taken Options

By default, options that are fully taken are hidden on your form, and respondents see a small Show taken button next to the options label if they want to view them. If you'd rather have taken options visible to everyone right away (for example, so respondents can see who else signed up, or so they can waitlist for a full option without having to click to reveal it), you can flip this on at the form level.

Step 1: Open your form's Options page

Go to the Dashboard, find your form, and click the Options button on the form's card.

Step 2: Find the Form Settings card

Scroll down to the Form Settings card and look for the Respondent Experience subsection.

Step 3: Turn on "Always Show Taken Options"

Find the Always Show Taken Options toggle (it sits just below the "Hide Available Response Counts" and "Show Available: 1 Count" toggles) and switch it on. The change saves automatically.

What Changes

  • Taken options now appear in the options list by default -- respondents don't have to click Show taken to see them.
  • The Show taken button no longer shows up on the form (there's nothing left to reveal).
  • If you have waitlists enabled, taken options still display their Join Waitlist checkbox, so this setting pairs well with waitlists.
  • Capacity limits still work exactly the same -- taken options remain unselectable; they're just visible.
