HCE Fall Festival--Trunk or Treat- Volunteers and Student Makers Market Signups

Join us for a fun evening of school spirit! Families can host a decorated trunk or game booth, and students can join our Makers Market. Please keep all decorations kid-friendly and PG-rated.


We are also looking for volunteer support, volunteer slots during the event are broken up in shifts to allow our volunteers time to enjoy the event. You CAN sign up for both slots if you desire!


We're looking for families to host decorated trunks for our Trunk or Treat OR a game "booth". This is a wonderful way to get creative, show school spirit, and bring joy to our students. 

  

PTO Provides:

  1. One parking spot in the trunk or treat area or reserved space for "booth"
  2. Volunteers with be on site to direct where to set up
  3. PTO will have runners during the event to provide candy/prize replenishment
  4. A fun atmosphere and lots of happy kids!

Details:

  1. Setup: 3:30pm-5:30pm
  2. Festival Time: 6:00pm-8:00pm
  3. Location: HCE parking lot

We are also offering 10 spots to any of our young entrepreneurs interested in selling their homemade products (bracelets, 3D printed items, etc) in our student makers market. See description for details.

    We picked this option for you:

    We are also offering 10 spots to any of our young entrepreneurs interested in selling their homemade products (bracelets, 3D printed items, etc) in our student makers market. This is only for St. Johns County School District students within our zoning (Hickory, SPMS, BTHS). We will provide the table and the students may bring their product to offer for sale during the event. You must list on the sign up what you will be offering. This is to encourage the spirit our entrepreneurship in our students!

    Helping direct the trunk signups on their location; ensuring traffic in/out is aware of where to go (parent pick up from extended day, volunteers and vendors)

    Setting up check in table, ensuring craft table, face painting table and photo booth is set and ready to go

    Ensuring tables are ready with drinks and food that PTO is selling (we may also have food trucks) If this happens, you will be assigned a new place for support.

    Student Volunteers will be assigned a station and an adult lead.


    During set up they will primarily be used to set up the spooky maze with Coach Mecke. He will assign each person jobs to get the maze ready and set to go!


    Once the maze is ready to go, please see your assigned adult for continued support and where you are needed next.
