What: Fall Plant Swap & Sale

When: Saturday, September 19th 2-4 PM

Why: The event I think we’re all most excited about—plant swap! Please join us from 1-4 PM at the Urbandale Public Library, Meeting Room A/B for our second plant swap of the year. Similar to our spring plant swap, there will be room for attendees to sell plants if they so choose. Please indicate your desire to sell on the sign up sheet.

Cost: Free to join! Value of items you bring are up to your discretion.

Plant Swap Organization:

*In order to keep the "swapping game" even, please bring no more than 3 items to swap. If you would like to bring additional items to give away/give to those who might not have anything to swap, please feel free to! Hosts will provide some extra items to give away as well.

*If bringing a plant, please label it. There will be some extra labels provided at the swap if needed.

*This swap is NOT limited to just plants. Anything plant-related or even plant-adjacent is fair game--plants, cuttings, pots, grow lights, terrariums, substrate components, etc.

*Please double check the plant(s) you’re bringing to make sure there are no pests!

FAQ

Can I bring my kids to this event?

The library is open to the public during our meeting, and children are welcome to attend. We kindly ask that parents or guardians remain responsible for supervising their kiddos throughout the event. Thank you for helping us create a safe and enjoyable experience for everyone!

Can I bring something to eat/drink?

Yes, snacks and drinks are welcome! We just ask that you are respectful of those around you as well as the space we are graciously being hosted in!

What time should I arrive?

We will start drawing for the plant swap promptly at 2, so please arrive 10-15 minutes early to get settled and ensure a prompt start time!
