Parents Corner seeking Volunteers for 2027 events

Parents Corner is gearing up for our 2027 season, and we’re building our volunteer list for a full calendar of family‑friendly community events. If you’ve been looking for a simple, meaningful way to support local families, we’d love to have you join us.

Parents Corner is a local nonprofit that provides breastfeeding and pumping spaces, clean changing areas, caregiver supplies, and a welcoming spot for parents and kids at community events.

For 2027, we’re seeking volunteers for:

* Fire & Ice

* Our Annual Family Show at the Bradley 

* Pluck‑a‑Duck/Main St Car Cruise

* Red, White & Blue In Killingly

* Brooklyn Fair

* Woodstock Fair

* Various family focused events in downtown Putnam

Some events come with free parking passes or free admission tickets.

Volunteer Requirements:

• Volunteers must be 18+ if working alone.

• Volunteers under 18 are welcome — we will pair you with an adult volunteer.

Main Duties:

• Keep the tent area tidy and welcoming

• Change out changing pads as needed

• Remove trash when full

• Walk the event grounds to let parents know where our tent is located
