President:
Arlene LeBoeuf Diaz I am seeking the role of President because I am incredibly proud of the foundation our PCA built this past year, and I want to ensure we continue to grow that momentum. We proved what we can achieve when we come together—from supporting the teacher grants program and upgrading the teacher break room to boosting student life through the Phoenix festival, our Stars and Strikes Homecoming collaboration (PSA Strike Night), and various Spirit Nights. My greatest contribution has been connecting the right volunteers with the right projects and keeping our initiatives on a positive, productive trajectory. This focus on volunteer coordination allowed for massive successes, such as raising over $4,500 for the Holiday Gift Card Drive and Teacher Appreciation Week. In total, the PCA doubled its fundraising efforts from the previous year, bringing in over $8,000. As President, I will use my organizational experience and passion for this community to lead our upcoming initiatives. This includes expanding our role in Senior Week, pushing for new qualifying grants, and launching a major fundraising event designed to bring in revenue in the tens of thousands ($25,000+). I plan to lead by fostering clear communication between parents, teachers, and administration, increasing volunteer engagement, and making sure our educators and students feel fully supported every step of the way. This is where my true passion lies, and I hope to serve as your President next year to bring these ambitious initiatives to fruition.
Vice President:
Rachel Hudson I'd love to help connect the parents and PCA members with the projects and committees they'd thrive in. I have a passion for supporting teachers (15 years in education), and helping parents to find ways to feel connected to the school. I think we are going into a year of building support for the PCA, as well as creating an overall positive image of the PCA in general. I hope to improve communication across the board, and to get people hyped up to get involved.
