Let’s Serve Together – Meal Packing Day

Join us for a hands-on opportunity to pack shelf-stable meals that will be distributed to individuals and families in need.

Each family or volunteer signs up for an one-hour shift.

How Many Spots Do I Sign Up For? (Can My Kids Help?)

We love kids serving with us.

To help everything run smoothly, please follow these guidelines:

1. Age 12 and older: Sign them up for their own volunteer spot.
2. Under age 12: Children are welcome to help, but must share a spot with a parent/guardian (one combined sign-up). Parents should work directly with younger children at the station.

Examples:

1. Family of 4 (13 & 15-year-old + mom & dad) → Sign up for 4 spots
2. Family of 5 (13-year-old, 9-year-old, 7-year-old + mom & dad) → Sign up for 3 spots (parents share with younger kids)

Each role is simple and easy to learn. Our organizers have found this structure helps ensure safety, focus, and a great experience for everyone.

If younger children attend but choose not to participate, please note:

1. The Ministry Center will not be available for entertainment purposes (tag, four square, etc.).
2. If the weather permits, outdoor space may be available.

Please arrive 10 minutes early to check-in and be ready to begin on time. Your shift will start promptly with a brief orientation video and instructions.

Hair coverings and gloves will be provided. If you have long hair, please plan to tie it back before serving.

After orientation, we’ll get right to work packing meals. Near the end of your shift, we will pause a few minutes early to:

1. Pray over the meals
2. Take group photos
3. Lightly reset the space for the next team

We want this to be meaningful, efficient, and fun.

How Is This Funded? (Can I Give?)

Thanks to our church’s generosity and 2025 surplus funds, the full cost of this event is already covered by the faithful giving of our regular and irregular donors.

Bring your family. Challenge & invite your small group. As spots fill, we can open additional packing lines as space allows.
