Christmas Boutique Volunteer Sign-up

A Christmas favorite for kids and parents: the NDA Christmas Boutique! This year it is on 12/8 and 12/9. The boutique is a low-cost, low-key way for our elementary students (K-4) to do a little holiday shopping for family and friends. Volunteers help the younger students select and gift wrap items for the people on their lists. If you prefer working behind the scenes, volunteers can also put their bargain shopping and/or decorating skills to use ahead of time since we'll need help setting up the boutique and stocking it with gifts (and then tearing down and packing everything away afterwards)! Haul out your ugly sweaters and Christmas cheer and volunteer for this fun event!

Estimated Volunteer Hours range from 2-40 hours. See each job description for estimated hours (noted as "Hrs.~".)


Christmas Boutique will take place December 8th and 9th.

There will be volunteer opportunities on December 9th and 10th in the boutique as well as before (stocking/shopping and set up) and after (tear down).

Boutique Chairperson- Organize event. Boutique Chairpersons need to be available during the daytime. 2-year commitment. Hrs.~30

Pre-Boutique Bargain Shopper- Shoppers will buy or solicit gift items to be donated to the boutique and drop off in school's front office. Gifts should be dropped off before Thanksgiving. Hours will vary. Reimbursement is available but limited, so we encourage frugality. Hrs.~3

Boutique Set-Up Crew (12/7)-Volunteers are needed for "behind the scenes" work, decorating and hauling goods and moving furniture, under the direction of Chairperson(s), to get the boutique ready for our "customers". Set-up to take place during school hours. Hrs ~4-6

During Event
Boutique Elves (12/8 & 12/9)-Volunteers are needed during the day of the event, for 1-2 hour shifts - to help kids choose gifts and assist them with wrapping. If you would prefer to shop with your child's class (or not shop with them) please note that in the comments. Hrs.~2
