A conversation about women’s heart health across the lifespan

Join us for an interactive Q&A panel discussion focused on women’s heart health, featuring four expert voices in cardiovascular care. Our panel will share insights, answer questions, and discuss key issues impacting women’s heart health. This event is part of the national Wear Red Canada initiative, held annually each February since 2018, which aims to raise awareness of women’s heart health and highlight the importance of prevention, early detection, and equitable access to care.

1. How do I access the venue? Is there parking?

The event will be held at the Italian Cultural Centre located at 3075 Slocan St, Vancouver, BC. There is a large free parking lot on-site, and it is a 7 minute walk from the Millennium Skytrain line (Renfrew Station).

2. What physical accessibility accommodations are there?

The venue is on the ground floor and wheelchair accessible. There will be area for wheelchair and other handicap options in the front row. Please let us know in the comments section if you would like us to reserve a spot for you.

3. How can I ask questions to the panelists?

We will be using a web-based platform called Slido to collect questions during the event, which the moderator will ask live. Instructions for how to submit questions to Slido will be explained on the day of the event.
