Lexington County Veterans Day Parade Signup

We need volunteers to participate in the parade as we represent Lake Murray VFW Post 6740. Both Comrades and Auxiliary Members are welcome! 12 chairs will be available on our float and as many volunteers as we can get are welcome to walk along side of our float.

The "Line Up" area is at Butler & Haygood Streets (enter from South Church Street, up Butler Street; do not enter from Columbia Avenue or Main Street). We need to be in our designated line up stop by NLT 1430 (2:30 p.m.) and ready to go. Sam and I plan to arrive to the line up area NLT 1400. There are several parking areas on Butler Street for members to park with a very short walk to meet up with us.

The Parade route is about 0.8 miles long (keep this in mind if walking), covering Butler & Haygood Streets to Main Street, then South Lake Drive to the County Administration Building. The main streets will close at 1445. Join us in representig our Post!
