Hide future dates beyond a date range

Limit how far in advance respondents can see and sign up for options. Show only the next N days, weeks, or months of dates instead of every future option at once.

If your form has options stretching far into the future (recurring weekly slots, ongoing office hours, etc.), you may not want respondents to see every date at once. Use the Only show options within the next N days/weeks/months setting to gradually reveal future options as the current date moves forward. This is the inverse of the "hide past dates" setting and works alongside it.

Step 1

Start on the Edit page of your form.

Step 2

Expand Advanced Settings and enable the Assign dates/times to options toggle. This is required for any date-based filtering to apply.

Step 3

Find the Only show options within the next checkbox below the date settings. Check the box, then enter a number and pick a period (days, weeks, or months).

Step 4

For example, setting 2 weeks means respondents will only see options dated within the next 14 days from today. As days pass, newer options come into the window and older ones drop out (combined with hide-past-dates if you have that on).

Step 5

Save your form. The window applies automatically every time the form is viewed, so you do not need to update it manually as time moves forward.

When to use this

  • Office hours or recurring availability where respondents should book within the next week or two, not 6 months out
  • Weekly volunteer signups where future weeks should only appear closer to the date
  • Any rolling-window booking flow where showing all future dates would be overwhelming
