Share the Health Fair 2026 - Car Seat Installation/Instalación Sillas de Seguridad

UPDATE 10/21/2026: At this time, sign-ups are closed. Please visit the Pediatrics area at Share the Health Fair this Saturday from 8am - 2pm for other offerings including free life jackets, bike helmets, cribs, sleep sacks, and other home safety items such as smoke detectors and cabinet locks. Vamos a tener otras cosas gratis como chalecos salvavidas, cascos para bici, cunas, sacos de dormir para bebé y otros artículos de seguridad para la casa, como detectores de humo y seguros para gabinetes. ¡Esperamos verte allí!

Event Information/Información del Evento:

This year, Wake Forest University School of Medicine in conjunction with Atrium Health Levine Children's and SafeKids Northwest Piedmont will feature a Car Seat Check and Install Station available for all attendees in need of a safe and properly sized car seat for their children. We will be giving out and installing free car seats to any child that needs one! Nationally certified Child Passenger Safety Technicians will be on site to install the carseats and review safety information. Each appointment will last at least 30 minutes but may be longer if you have multiple children.

Important: You must bring the vehicle that the car seat will be installed into and the child must be present to properly fit the car seat.

Este año, la Escuela de Medicina de la Universidad Wake Forest en conjunto con el Hospital Atrium Health Levine Children's y SafeKids Northwest Piedmont ofrecerán una estación de revisión e instalación de asientos de seguridad infantiles disponible para todos los participantes que necesiten una silla segura y del tamaño adecuado para sus hijos. Estaremos regalando e instalando sillas de seguridad gratuitas para todo niño que las necesite! Técnicos certificados a nivel nacional en seguridad de pasajeros infantiles estarán presentes para instalar las sillas y repasar la información de seguridad. Cada cita durará al menos 30 minutos, aunque podría extenderse si tiene varios hijos.

Importante: Debe traer el vehículo donde se instalará la silla, y el niño debe estar presente para realizar el ajuste correcto.
